Good Friday is Hot Cross Bun eating day at our place.... but I have to make them first. I was hoping that I'd be able to make them for breakfast, but they turned out to be a late lunch instead. I didn't stop at one either - my DH has photographic evidence of me eating the first one & even buttered the second one for me. 2 was enough but for me, they were far better than birthday cake or Xmas cake. Damage done? 300g. Guilty? I was before I ate them, not now though!
To balance out the carbs, I decided that I needed some fat so I turned to another cheese sandwhich.
Dinner didn't get photographed - I realised that I hadn't done it at about the time that I scraped my plate. I can however tell you that it looked pretty much like another meal I've posted - so here it is again.
